Our Center offers mediation services to individuals with disputes. All parties meet with a mediator to discuss the issues and reach a mutually satisfactory agreement. Mediators are trained mediators who can assist you in determining what steps to take to settle the dispute. The mediator does not determine right or wrong nor impose sanctions of the law. We offer in-person, telephone or virtual mediation.
ABOUT the Cumberland County Dispute Resolution Center
Welcome to the Cumberland County Dispute Resolution Center (CCDRC), a dedicated non-profit organization established in1987. Since 1993, we have proudly included the Cumberland Teen Court, enhancing diversity, accountability, and responsibility within the Juvenile Justice System. Governed by a committed board of directors, we are also members of the Mediation Network of North Carolina. At CCDRC, we offer free mediation services and educational programs aimed at providing alternatives to violence and litigation for both adults and juveniles.
